DO you recognise this happy couple?

A Hampshire picture framer is seeking the owners of this framed wedding photograph after they failed to collect it from his shop during the mid- 1990s.

David Lane, of Blue Goose Gallery, West End, said: “We have moved premises and changed our business name since then and the invoice details have been lost. It would be a shame to throw the picture away and I think, with a little publicity, hopefully the owners can be found.”

They are probably divorced by now and remarried, and divorced again, so will not want the photo.

What lovely comments so far! Good publicity - and why not? What's wrong with that. And maybe this couple are still together or maybe there is a member of the family who will be over the moon at the discovery of this picture. Lighten up. Some people marry for life!!

The point I am making is that if they are now divorced, which is probable rather than possible, they will not want their wedding photo splashed all over The Southern Evening Echo, it may cause distress, not joy.
